Architect Antonino Cardillo studied under the guidance of professor Iolanda Lima at the University of Palermo. Through his works, Cardillo explores the bonds between ancient and modern languages. His spaces attempt to synthesise diverse cultures: he interprets architecture as a way to reunite opposites.

Published across the globe, he has lectured at the schools of architecture of the Architectural Association and the Royal College of Art in London, and his works have been exhibited at different venues, including Sir John Soane’s Museum, the Deutsche Architekturmuseum and the Triennale di Milano.
