Theses

2002 – 2001

Cardillo’s degree thesis on the Marina of Trapani, from the research on 2001: A Space Odyssey to the three projects that descend from it. What in the film is vision becomes bodily experience: montage turns into a path, the prisms of Canto sospeso cut out the sky above the sea, the parts of Echoes resound in one another as in a village, and the orbiting ring returns in Let There Be More Light as a gallery suspended over the water, where beginning and end coincide
