For No One

2011 – 2007

A documented study of the series Seven Houses for No One by Cardillo, presenting poetic images of imagined dwellings conceived for cities such as Barcelona, Melbourne, Nîmes, Parma, Pembrokeshire and Rome. Though never built, these houses were perceived as real following their publication in the international press, generating a phenomenon of simulated reality

Description

Seven houses designed between 2007 and 2011, from Ellipse 1501 House to Purple House, never built yet perceived as real once published in the international press. After 2012 they were gathered under the name of Seven Houses for No One; they are also known as Imagined Houses.
